Having not played on Saturday, I can't comment on performances, but as a whole both days this weekend the results where what the should have been ie totally convincing wins. From what I can gather batting was difficult Saturday on an obviously 'damp' pitch but most were comfortable but just didn't see anything through for a big score, but the bowling and fielding were good. Likewise on Sunday the batting was sound, particularly well done Rowey for you first 50, good clean hitting and a dryer pitch I'm sure would have brought the big one. Again bowling Sunday was good in the main and fielding acceptable. A good start to the season probably the best for a few seasons which will lye us in good stead for the first league game coming up on saturday. Theres still a lot of hard work and training to do and I personally feel some fitness & stamina work is required to aid our cause physically and mentally, but I'm sure we are all looking forward to and are ready for the next months of league games.
