A fantastic effort all round, AA did most of the batting with most of the others assuming anchor rolls whilst the molestation went on. Well done Pards a very fine and patient 40, the hard work put in is starting to come off and long may it continue. Everyone else just dabbled.

Not much else can be said about the batting, except that 261 was a good score even though the bowling was very average the wicket made it more difficult.

Bowling, well Dom blew them away and a much-deserved 5-wicket haul for the long maned and mulleted big guy.

It has been coming for a few weeks and it was about time one of us openers (more likely to be him!) got some wickets in one go. Well-done mate. Heathy also showed how much he has been improving all season with a fine 3 for 3 in 8 with the only runs being 3 wides, another vital cog in a well oiled machine.

The fielding and catching was good, fielding still could be tightened up a bit but generally sound and we still drifted a little on the concentration but again in the main it was good. Catches were held apart from one may be two difficult half chances but Hickers, Towsey and Bear made good catches. (Just goes to show that sometimes the spare tyre can be useful!)

Skittled out for 60 was an achievement in itself and it was pleasing to actually do it to someone as we have been threatening it to someone for a while. (We also have been on the other end of them in the past)

Lets do it all again next week if we can, which I’m sure we will try.

Keep your feet on the ground boys, we won’t be finished till the last game, anything can happen in the next two weeks. Keep it going.
