Unfortunately due to the consistent and persistent rain all week, and despite Saturday being dry and fine, the wicket was unplayable, therefore the game was abandoned and Sibton shared 8 points with Bromley Common. It was enough to ensure promotion but not the way we would have liked to do it, we’d rather another 20 point batting first win. As it happened, if we had played and got 20 points, we would have been even more disappointed as Hayes managed a 20 pointer anyway, so all would have been in vain (As far as points were concerned!) | ||
